The Flash - Cisco/Merry
"What is that?" asked Merry. They were alone and the alarms at S.T.A.R. Labs were blaring. Wells was still AWOL, Caitlin was on a coffee run and Barry hadn't shown up yet.
Cisco quickly pushed his chair along to one of the computers, surveying the footage from the CCTV cameras. "It's a security breach."
"Where?" As Merry followed suit, she realised that half of the camera views had been obscured. It was like trying to see something through frosted glass.
"I have no idea... Judging by the cameras that have been tampered with, I'm guessing somewhere around the front of the building?"
No sooner had he said it, the door to the Cortex was kicked open by a black boot with a loud bang. Wearing the boots was a man in a hooded coat with what looked like dark skiing goggles pulled over his eyes and a very high-tech looking gun in his hands. "Morning, Cisco." The light tone didn't match anything else. "I hope
Remember, Casdi! The sky was grey, the rain was falling hardly… two figures were fighting. One of the figures moved fast, while the other one threw pink energy to the other. Water splashed from the floor with every movement, while one of them seemed determined to win, the other looked somehow unsure.
-Got tired already?! –the slim figure that threw pink energy asked with contempt
-Stop it Casdi! This is not you! –The other figure was hurt, and tried again, to convince the other to stop
-You don't know me, Robin! –Casdi throws the pink energy again
Robin evades the energy but slips because of the water; he looked at Casdi, who was also tired and mad. He stood up, and walked towards the blonde.
-This is not you… the Joker is playing with your memory… please Cassie…-tries to get closer
-NO! –Casdi runs and hits Robin on the face- How do you know my name!? –Punches him again
Robin falls to the ground- I know you… your name is … Cassie Mornin
Prompt 13 - HabitEven after having lived with her for ten years, there were still some things Edward Nygma didn't understand about his wife. Not important things of course. He knew perfectly well why she was still in love with her former fiance, why she don't wanted him to call her mother a demon although she agreed with him, why she got up and opened the windows in the middle of the night... He'd figured those out by himself.
However Daphnée had some strange habits. Odd little habits like writing on her arms, brushing her fingers against each others, putting her hands on her belt instead of putting them in her pockets and many, many others.
It was always a fun challenge to guess why she did something. His wife had led an interesting life even before she'd met him. She'd travelled a lot, had known a lot of weird people and "collected" all those little details that made her unique along the way. So year after year when he was bored he would take some time to guess from where each piece of the puzzl
The room was pitch black. She'd stopped to turn on the night light a long time ago, knowing that the monsters under her bed were figments of her imagination, the menacing silhouettes were in fact her toys's shadows and the Boogeyman claw scratching her window was simply a willow's birch. All those things didn't scare her anymore. On the opposite the darkness surrounded the seven years old child like a protective shield, hiding the horror that her life had become. As long as she couldn't see a thing, everything was fine. Once upon a time, it had been her mother's snores that had comforted her. But now whether she heard them or not it didn't make any difference.
A shiver crawled along her spine as the ray of light under her door became impossible to ignore. Desperately clinging to the childish belief that the Darkness would protect her, she under her comforter.
She could still see the light, hear his footsteps make the wooden floor creak. Squeezing her eyes
